License Agreement

Last updated: 1 May 2026

This License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of WordPress theme files distributed through the WP-Themer platform, operated by WP-Themer Ltd. By purchasing a license, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, do not complete the purchase.

1. Grant of license

When you purchase a theme license through WP-Themer, WP-Themer Ltd grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the applicable theme in accordance with the license type purchased (Single-Site, Multi-Site, or Commercial), as defined below. This license is granted as a sub-license under WP-Themer's authorised distribution agreement with the relevant theme vendor.

2. License types

2.1 Single-Site License Permits installation and use of the theme on one (1) domain or subdomain controlled by the licensee. The theme may not be redistributed, resold, or used on any other domain without purchasing an additional license. 2.2 Multi-Site License Permits installation and use of the theme on up to twenty-five (25) domains or subdomains controlled by the licensee. Suitable for freelancers and agencies managing multiple client projects. 2.3 Commercial License Permits installation and use of the theme on an unlimited number of domains controlled by or on behalf of the licensee, including client-facing projects. Includes white-label rights where explicitly noted on the theme's catalog page. Required for any installation where the end client receives access to the WordPress admin.

3. Permitted uses

Under all license types, you may: • Install and activate the theme on the permitted number of WordPress installations. • Customise the theme's code, templates, and assets for your own projects. • Use the theme to build websites for paying clients, subject to the applicable license type. • Receive theme updates for the duration of your update coverage period (12 months from purchase, extendable).

4. Restrictions

You may not: • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or make the theme files available to any third party. • Include the theme or its assets in another product offered for sale or free distribution. • Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or attribution notices in the theme source code. • Use the theme in a way that violates the terms of the original theme vendor's license. • Transfer a license to another individual or entity without prior written consent from WP-Themer. Violation of these restrictions terminates the license immediately and may result in account suspension.

5. White-label rights

White-label use — including renaming, re-branding, or removing vendor attribution within the theme — is permitted only under a Commercial License and only for themes whose catalog page explicitly indicates white-label rights are included. If white-label rights are not indicated, attribution must be preserved as specified in the theme's documentation.

6. Updates and support

License purchases include access to theme updates for 12 months from the date of purchase. After 12 months, you retain access to the version available at expiry, but will not receive new updates without renewing update coverage. Theme support is provided by the original vendor; WP-Themer's support covers platform and licensing issues only.

7. Escrow and file retention

WP-Themer maintains escrow copies of all theme files in our catalog. If a vendor discontinues a theme or removes it from distribution, active licensees retain access to the last available version through their WP-Themer account for the duration of their license. Escrow access does not extend to vendor-provided support or future updates.

8. Refunds and revocations

Theme licenses are non-refundable once a license key has been issued or a download has been initiated. If you believe a purchase was made in error before any download or activation, contact support@wp-themer.com within 24 hours. Refund decisions are made at WP-Themer's sole discretion. A license may be revoked by WP-Themer in the event of a verified license agreement violation, fraud, or at the direction of the theme vendor under their distribution agreement.

9. Warranty disclaimer

Theme files are provided by third-party vendors. WP-Themer makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the fitness, quality, security, or continued maintenance of any theme. Themes are distributed "as is" in the state received from the vendor at time of purchase.

10. Governing law

This License Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
